Chrome extension
Review your emails before you send.
AvoraSense helps your team identify compliance risks in Gmail as you write, using FINRA Rule 2210 and your firm’s policies.
How it works
- 1
Add AvoraSense to Chrome
One click. You will find it afterwards under the puzzle-piece Extensions menu in Chrome's toolbar — pin it there to keep it in view.
- 2
Open Gmail and compose an email
AvoraSense appears alongside the message you are writing. It reads that draft and nothing else.
- 3
Review the findings before you send
Each one names the rule or policy behind it, with suggested wording where there is a safe alternative.
What your team gets
Checks as you write
Compliance risks surface while the draft is still a draft, not after it has gone out.
Every finding has a source
Each is tied to the FINRA Rule 2210 provision or the firm policy it comes from.
Suggested wording
Where flagged language has a safe alternative, it is offered in one click.
Send it for review when it matters
Hand a draft to your firm's compliance queue without leaving Gmail.
Gmail is the email integration AvoraSense supports today.
Connecting your account
Checking a draft needs no account — install the extension and it works. Connecting your AvoraSense account adds one thing: the ability to send a draft to your firm’s compliance queue, filed under your name. Use Connect to AvoraSense above, and sign in if you are asked to.
Manual installation and troubleshooting
AvoraSense is not in the Chrome Web Store yet, so Get Chrome Extension downloads it as a file (version 0.1.0, 235 KB). Unzip it, open Chrome’s Extensions page, turn on developer mode, and choose Load unpacked followed by the unzipped folder.
Already installed but this page says otherwise? It still works. A web page cannot see for certain what Chrome has installed, so this page sometimes cannot tell. Open Gmail and start a message — if the AvoraSense bar appears, you are set. To connect your account, make sure the extension is switched on for this site and that its settings point at this AvoraSense workspace, then reload this page.
